We propose a material change to SUS430KD for cost reduction of the ventilation hood.
In the architectural hardware industry, particularly in the manufacturing of ventilation hoods, the selection of materials significantly impacts quality and cost. In cases where enclosures and frames are designed for painting, excessive surface finish grades can drive up costs. SUS430KD has a slightly rougher surface finish compared to SUS430, which enhances paint adhesion, while also being more cost-effective. This allows for cost reduction without significantly altering the quality of the material itself.
